Good Samaritan Ministries

JoAnn Axe is the director of Good Samaritan Ministries of East St. Louis. You will most often find JoAnn and anyone she can recruit, in the streets taking care of the people that society wishes would go away. Whether they need Food, clothes, help with a job search, or other tangible needs they are always touched with the love of Jesus and encouragement from His word.

The Good Samaritan Village is beginning to take shape. There are five new homes built from storage units that are now occupied by men who were homeless with little hope of ever having a roof over their heads. Harvester was able to resource two of the five homes and over the next few years Good Samaritan is planning to have as many as 20 homes in their village.
